Registrations are now being accepted for two Jefferson park and recreation department programs.
The spring soccer season for U8-U12 players is right around the corner. Registration deadline is Thursday, March 6. Players who register after March 6 are not guaranteed a spot on a team.
Practices will begin the week of March 24. Age for each division is determined by the players’ age as of July 31, 2013. U8 teams will play games in Jefferson and Ogden Saturday mornings beginning April 12. U10 and U12 teams will play all games in Fort Dodge on Saturday mornings, also starting April 12.
U6 soccer information and registration will be available as the April 14 starting date nears.
Participants in the Mini Track program will have fun running distances, sprints and getting ready for the Hershey Track Meet to be held April 22. The class will meet March 17- April 22 at Daubendiek Park. Children in grades 3-6will meet on Monday evenings from 5:15 to 6 pm. Children in grades K-2 will meet on Tuesday evenings from 5:15 to 6 pm.
